Welcome to Upper & Lower Lakeridge

Lakeridge is a quiet and safe community of friendly neighbors, both full and part-time residents. Most of the properties within Lakeridge are upscale homes on the southeast Nevada side of Lake Tahoe. The general area is divided into two sections, called Upper and Lower Lakeridge depending on which side of Highway 50 they are located. From dawn to sunset, residents enjoy gorgeous views of the pristine waters of Lake Tahoe as well as the entire panorama of the Sierra Mountain Range to the west. A bonus for residents and friends is a special 20’wide dock reaching 100 ft into the lake. The locals call this dock “ The Pavilion”. The pavilion features a raised and covered deck housing picnic tables and benches for that special lunch or sunset hors d-oeuvres & wine with spectacular views of 90% of the entire Lake. Adjacent to the pier is a protected beach ideal for swimming and/or launching kayaks and canoes.

From dawn to sunset, residents enjoy gorgeous views of the unparalleled blue waters of Lake Tahoe Lakeridge as well as the panorama of the majestic Sierra Nevada Mountain Range.

The Lakeridge community also enjoys five-minute access to excellent schools and playgrounds plus a well-established library, the famous Zephyr Cove Lodge with swimmable beaches, boat and horseback riding plus sternwheeler and tri-maran excursions across the Lake. Another three minutes brings one to a fine Mall with a grocery store, restaurants, Post Office, a fire station and other shops. Another three minutes brings one to Tahoe’s best Casino/Hotels, first-class entertainment, ski lifts, ice-skating, spectacular Edgewood Golf Course and many restaurants. Within a 20 minute drive over Lake Spooner Pass to Carson City are major malls with Costco, WalMart, Trader Joe’s, Best Buy, Barnes & Noble, Home Depot, Staples, World Market, numerous restaurants, Galaxy digital/3D Theaters, and much more.

Caring for all of the special Lakeridge community’s safety and major issues is the General Improvement District [GID] composed solely of the Lakeridge residents. Through this organization, Lakeside has completed a three year Fire Safe Project to protect their families and homes from disastrous fires. The residents have also completed a multi-million dollar storm sewer and multi catch-basin project to protect the legendary clarity of the Lake. The GID is also responsible for maintaining our roads and providing excellent snow removal. Lakeridge is certainly an ideal neighborhood for those seeking a quality lifestyle with a sense of strong community.
