I was raised in Lake Tahoe but left shortly after graduating high school to pursue a life in the big city and abroad. After meeting my husband, we returned to the lake to raise our family. We relocated to the Carson Valley, a short twenty-minute drive from Lake Tahoe, a decade ago so our younger daughter could follow her dreams of becoming a big animal veterinarian.
